Swimming Lessons

Tot Swim
Age:  children ages 6 months to 4 years old.

This program is designed to be a beginner swimming course for babies, toddlers, and pre-school age children.  We spend time getting them used to being in the water and feeling comfortable getting their faces wet and blowing bubbles in the water.  The instructors work on basic stroke motion, flotation, and water safety.  Children learn how to properly wear a lifejacket and become more safely independent in the water.

Kid Swim

Age:  children 5 years old to 12 years old.

Children are separated into different classes depending on what level of a swimmer they are.  Our beginner swim classes cover submerging child’s face in water with and without blowing bubbles, beginning safety training (simple water do’s and don’ts), climbing in and out of the water by oneself, floating (both on stomach and back), tummy flutter kick and back flutter kick (with support).  Our intermediate classes focus on stroke development, rhythmic breathing and beginning surface diving.  Our more advanced classes focus on further stroke development and improvement, rhythmic breathing and improvement on diving.
